Tom Berg, a prominent figure in the tattoo industry, began his artistic journey in 1995 when he started tattooing after completing an apprenticeship under Ethan and Terri from So Cal Tattoo. Before transitioning to tattoos, Tom honed his artistic skills in the commercial art world by designing for comics and gaming companies. For over 25 years, he worked alongside Terri Williams at So Cal Tattoo. Today, they remain close as neighbors at Hush, a charming 1930's building in San Pedro filled with private studios. Specializing in dark, gothic black and grey tattoo designs, Tom has made significant contributions to the field by being one of the first artists to collaborate with Co-Founder Ryan Smith here at Sullen. His exceptional talent extends beyond the tattoo studio to the entertainment industry, where he created designs for popular TV and film productions like Prison Break, Red Dragon, X-Men, and Rush Hour. Drawing inspiration from art, life, and music, Tom's creativity is also expressed through his passion for playing guitar, having been part of bands like Justice 86 and State of Grace. Tom Berg's journey is a testament to his dedication to art and the continuous evolution of his craft.
