Luiz Booth

@luizboothtattoo

Before he picked up a tattoo machine, Luiz Booth was hammering drums in the underground metal scene—laying down blast beats and building the rhythm that would later shape his approach to art. With over 25 years behind the kit and more than a decade in tattooing, Luiz brings that same raw intensity and precision into every piece he creates.

Raised on metal, anime, and comics, Luiz’s style hits hard with dark realism, horror elements, and biomechanical flow. But don’t try to box him in—he’s just as comfortable flexing neo-traditional flair, experimenting with new school, or taking on a design that pushes his creativity in a new direction. For Luiz, it’s not about fitting a category—it’s about staying passionate and making something real.

One of his signature moves? Freehand tattooing. Luiz draws directly on the skin to get each design to move with the body—more fluid, more organic, and always one of one. Whether it’s black and grey or full color, his work stands out for its detail, depth, and the way it lives with the canvas instead of just on it.

Beyond the tattoo booth, Luiz is still creating nonstop. From painting and illustration to artwork for bands and brands, he treats every medium like a stage—another chance to go all in.

We’re proud to welcome Luiz Booth to the Sullen Artist Series and even more hyped to showcase what happens when music, movement, and obsession with the craft all collide in ink.

Hit him up if you’re ready to wear something wild.
