Gill Monte, born in Traverse City, MI on December 18, 1954, has had a fascinating journey through the world of tattoos and acting. Growing up between Detroit, Chicago, and Southern California, Monte developed a passion for tattoos at a young age, starting to create them by hand in 1969.

Early Beginnings and Military Service

In 1971, Monte made the decision to join the Marine Corps, serving until 1973. After his military service, he embarked on an apprenticeship in 1974 in Southern California under the guidance of Doc Dog. This marked the beginning of his professional tattooing career, a path he has never strayed from.

Global Tattooing and Acting Career

Over the last 30 years, Gill Monte has left his mark all over the world through his tattooing skills. His expertise and artistry have taken him to various countries, where he has created stunning pieces of body art.
