David Groth, a talented tattoo artist from St. Louis, Missouri, found his passion for lettering at a young age. Growing up next to active train lines, he was exposed to a lot of graffiti, which sparked his interest in the art of lettering.

By 2014, David pursued his passion and started tattooing professionally. His main focus has always been on custom lettering, where he can showcase his creativity and attention to detail. Alongside lettering, he also enjoys working on black and grey and traditional tattoo styles.

Currently, David Groth and his wife own BlackLetter Tattoo in his hometown of St. Louis. With over 10 years of experience and a deep love for the art of tattooing, David continues to create stunning pieces for his clients, each one unique and personalized.
