Julien Thibers embarked on his tattooing journey in 2001, under the guidance of mentors Jeff from Tournai and Serge from Albertville. With their expertise, he honed his skills and passion for the art form. In 2002, Julien took a significant step by opening his own shop, Clockwork Needle, in Epinal, his hometown.

After spending several years dedicated to his shop, Julien felt the urge to explore new horizons. His first taste of the tattoo convention scene came at Belfort, organized by the renowned Mike the Buddha. This experience fueled his determination to participate in more conventions and expand his reach.

Building on his success at conventions, Julien gradually ventured into working abroad. His dedication and talent caught the attention of sponsors, leading to valuable partnerships. As his reputation grew, so did his following, solidifying his position in the global tattooing community.
