If You Don’t Know….
Sullen is back for another If you dont know tuesdays, hope everyone had a great Turkey day and had lots of food. Last week we spiced it up a bit and drifted from action sports and went with a tattoo artist. This week we are flippin the script and moving towards the music side of Sullen. This week I chose Tony Dow, aka DJ Boogi, one of the best DJ’s in Orange County. Boogi has been a part of the Sullen family for quite some time, in fact he has been around since the beginning when Ts were sold out the garage. Boogi is always keeping himself busy with doing clubs, bars and special event parties and continues to spin with the best. He has spun some huge events with performances by LMFAO, Dirt Nasty, The Alkaholiks and many more as well as doing his thing beside the best DJs in the world while traveling all over the map. Now Boogi better knows as Tony Dow was one of the best High School basketball players in Orange County, played with some of the best players and has some big records for Ocean View High. I have always know him as a great player and a few years back ran into him at a club, said what up and caught up a bit and next thing you know he was up on stage competing in a spin off for the best DJ in the OC. I was trippin and finally put Tony Dow with his alias DJ name making him the famous DJ Boogi. Boogi is a great guy and a great representative of Sullen Clothing. 5. The club or bar I mostly dj at is…. I like play at different Clubs and Bars as much as possible, but I would have to say Flight in HB and/or 90s Night @ Sharkeez!!
6. Where is the best place to DJ, is there a studio or something…I think the best place still till this day is a good old HOUSE PARTY…
7. What sets sullen apart from other clothing companies or your other sponsors…. Sullen is like my family. Whether im across the US in Tennessee or anywhere else, I always talk to them and get encouragement. The family always has positive things to say. Im grateful to be able to walk in the airport and have people ask me or offer me money for the shirt im wearing… Ive never had that expierence with any other clothing line let alone even heard a story like that.

9. My favorite DJ would have to be….. Donald Glaude… If youve ever seen him, the energy he brings to the show along with amazing music makes a great vibe.. Hes not just a dj, hes an entertainer!!
10. sickest place I’ve traveled to and why…. Recently, Austin, TX. We got there around 8 - 9pm… The streets were like a huge college ghosttown… We decided to grab a drink in this hole on the wall bar….I would have to say within 20mins of being in the bar, when we walked out, the streets were filled with hundreds of people all having a great time….
11. what you might not know about me is….. Ice Hockey, Snowboarding, and Baseball are my favorite things to do…
12. my future plans and goals are ….. Future Plans are to expand to other countries and dj. One of my main goals is to have clubgoers know when they see Dj Boogi (Sullen) on a flyer or hear that I will be at a local club, to have an effect on them that gets them unbelievably excited to watch me entertain…
13. my favorite sullen item in the new line would have to be…. the new backpack and the Cross Road beenie..Its a toss up between the 2.
14. Do you have any tattoos? What are they and the story behind some….Yes, the inside of my entire left forearm is inked up. I have my son “Kai’s” name on my wrist area. The reason behind that was as a child I always liked tattoos but never could think of anything I loved beyond life that i could put on my arm. The day my son was born I knew thats what I wanted and wouldnt have wanted it any other way…. The rest of the tattoo, which is the sunset and the OCEAN <—(The meaning of “Kai” in Hawaiian) complement my sons name.
15. I would like to give a shout out to…. Everyone that I have ever been in contact with. My family, my freinds, even the people that said I wouldnt be anything as a dj. A big shout out to Jeremy and Ryan. They have always shown me love and support from day one. They showed me what passion for what you do can only be stopped if you let it. I remember when they used to sell the clothes out of there apartment…And to know how they believed and supported each other thru many up and downs, to looking at them now and saying a million words with just a smile. All the hard work is paying off and I couldnt be any more happier for the entire Sullen Family… They had a vision. They put there all in the vision. And now we all have the chance to enjoy thier vision… Sullen Baby!!!
