Destin and I are about to leave for the airport to finally come back home and I have never been so happy to come home. We are so home sick it is not funny, definitely appreciate what we have back home. We had tons of fun and Destin sits in 4th place overall going into Costa Rica in March which that will be awesome but sad at the same time. our good friend Jeremy Lusk crashed at this event last year which ended Lusks life so you could imagine the pain the riders will be going through leading up to the event as well as during, but for now we are all safe and had a blast at the first stop of X-Knights and would like to thanks everyone from the staff that put on such a great event, they made everything so smooth and feel so welcomed.
Tomorrow Starts the ASR trade show in San Diego and ends Thursday so come by our booth and say hi and of course check out some of the new stuff that will be on display, ASR is always a fun time with all the parties and to see how crazy some of the companies get with there booths so it’s going to be interesting to see what Volcom, Von Zipper and Billabong have up there sleeves. In the mean time keep checking back here for news updates, videos and photo galleries. Thanks Sullen fans, see you at an event near you.

Todays show for the X-Knights came to an end and it was a blast. Great crowd, actually a full house and lots of great riding. The Moore brothers came into town late last night and dominated on the quads while Destin continued his consistant work ethic placing 4th. So far after the first stop of X- Knights Cantrell sits in 4th place over all going into Costa Rica on March 13th which will be a whole new design, actually it will be a flowing fmx course with ramps and dirt hits which is right up Destins alley. Destin has been doing non stop interviews and press because of his consistant riding and professional look, the crowd loved him. Stay tuned back here in a few days as I will post pictures of the 3 nights, thanks for checking in.

Hello Sullen fans just wanted to give everyone an update on whats been going on in Panama for X- Knights, been super fun but have had some mishaps. Both of the quad guys Nick Hickey and JR Hinds went down hard, Nick was going towards the ramp and last secong his bike bogged out and he pulled off but had already committed to half the ramp and had landed sideways and with the force of the quad it rolled over on him separating his shoulder. He went to the hospital and took x-rays, nothing to serious so he came back to the venue to watch some more practice. After 15 minutes of being back from the hospital his teammate JR took a hard spill under rotating a flip that pile drived him to his face. It was pretty nasty but the dude is a strong little guy, he got carted off to the hospital where later we got word that he suffered a badly broken nose and cheek bones and jaw were shattered. He is ok other than that so thats great news and wish him to a speedy recovery.
Last night the event started and it was really cool, the hard work paid off as the guys pulled off a great first night. Sullen FMX athlete Destin Cantrell was up against some of the best guys in the sport and pulled off a 4th place finish with an 88.25 just under Jeremy Rouanet which got an 88.50, Destin just missed getting a trophy but was super stoked on his performance. Cantrell rode solid pulling off all tricks super smooth as always and from me being one of the judges it was tough for sure. Tonnights show will be going off at 7:30 so check back again for the update, for now check out some of the pics I shot around the town and event, thanks Sullen fans.

Whats up Sullen lovers Destin and I touched down in Panama City late last night and man this place is crazy. of course it was dark so we weren’t sure what to expect when we woke up but it’s definately tropical. Our Hotel is super nice ( 5 stars ) and the pool is rediculously sweet, you can swim up to the bar and sit on stools in the water, it’s a paradise. So far not a whole lot has been going on, just relaxing and recovering from the flight. Everyone is super pumped and nice here, you nod and smile and they give you a bigger smile and a thumbs up back, of course you have some weirdos around but you don’t really look or pay attention to them and then their are the pan handling kids that walk around and ask for money, annoying but Destin and I are used to it from our trip to India last October. Anyway just wanted to update all of you, we are on our way out to the venue to check out the conditions and then to dinner. Check back for pics and more news, thanks.
PS- this place has the best fruit I have ever eaten, so fresh and so clean!!!

In the morning myself and my brother Destin Cantrell will be catching an early flight out of LAX to Miami Florida then off to Panama City Panama for 7 days. Destin will be competing in a contest called The X- Knights and I will be one of the guest judges along with Lil D from FMF and supercross legend Ernesto Fonseca. The guys competing, Ronnie Renner, Wiley Fulmer, Danny Torres from Spain, Eigo Sato from Japan and a few others are sure gonna give Destin a run for his money but from what Destin told me his game plan is, is to just stay consistant and have fun. If all goes well he will get an invite back for the other 2 stops in Guatemala and Costa Rica so keep your fingers crossed that the Sullen FMX star can make that happen. This trip is sure going to be a memory of fun before and after the event, Destin and I got invited to stay an extra day to site see and enjoy some time in the city so check back here daily for updates and pictures, peace!!!

A few weeks back Sullen BMX star TJ Ellis was in Columbia to compete in the Red Bull Upside Down contest adn things didn’t go as planned. Comming off a great finish at the Dew Action Sports Tour TJ’s confidence was sky high and excited that he got invited to this. A few days before the event the boys went to check out these trails that were about two hours away, TJ hit one of the jumps and slammed his foot down on the ground to catch himself from falling over. He didn’t think much of this pain he had shooting through his leg because it would leave and then come back, then leave again so he opted out of the contest and became a judge. When he got home he went and saw a doctor and they said he had hurt his peroneal nerve in his right leg which controls the upward movement of his ankle and toes. The Doc said it’s a nerve that will heal on its own and just to chill for a while. I asked TJ last night how long he was out for and he had said ” its still undecided, the swelling has gone down a bit but I go and see a specialist on February 4th to see how damaged it is, hopefully it’s healed by then if not shortly after the doctor visit. ”
As I talked to TJ he sounded more and more confident that it was going to heal up soon and would be back in action which we all hope to be true so heal up quick and don’t push it bud, check out the picture TJ sent all in his Sullen gear on crutches. To a speedy recovery from the Sullen Family, peace!!

Next months issue of Transworld Moto Mag will feature Defts new team ad that includes Sullen BMX star TJ Ellis. The ad is super sick with just a big hand wearing the popular Catalyst Graff Glove with a few of the athletes in the palm. If you are not familiar with Deft then you have been sleeping under a rock, the new popular motocross glove company owned by FMX superstar Nate Adams and Supercross Racer turned awesome full time designer Logan Darien have made a brand that is not only about fashion for the motocross industry but the gloves are super comfortable and will not break the bank. I recently stopped by the Nate Adams comound to pick up my gloves to test out and they are simply the best gloves I have worn and want to thank Logan and Nate for hooking me up. Also in the box was some product for Destin Cantrell to try out as well and the Deft family recruited Destin to there very close group of riders. So all in all I think Deft is giving Sullen some huge love letting TJ wear both hat and tee i there new ad and swooping up Destin, you never know whats in store next year with Sullen and Deft, maybe a collab in the mix, wink wink.

The 10 year old is a complete ripper on and off his skateboard, he strives to continue to get straight A’s in school as well as keeping up his half pipe skills. One of Gavins best sponsors besides Sullen is his dad Chris, you’re probably thinking, well parents are always sponsors of there kids, but literally his Dad is. Chris is the owner of Spun Skateboards who supplies Gavin with as many as the best decks as he needs and i’m sure there are some prototype stuff that he is testing for his dad. I think it’s pretty cool they can help eachother grow in the skate industry. Gavin will soon be a name that everyone will know and Sullen is stoked to be right there with him as he succeeds in the skateboard world. Lets get with the interview and see what little Gav has to say.

Within the last 48 hours Sullen Clothing has had some serious recognition. Our boy B Real from Cypress Hill who was spotted wearing a white Til Death T at a Lakers Knicks game at the staples center last month invited us to film his online webcast on Wednesday, as we rolled up to where his place was in LA we get a call that the one and only Snoop Dogg had come by and swooped him up to join him as they filmed the George Lopez show so we couldn’t be mad hahaha. The TBS show is a new hit talk show that brings 2 people on and a performance everynight and I must say it’s hilarious. B Real who has signed with Snoop Doggs label performed and interviewed in a Sullen T and a 20k hat, but we did notice that in the interview B Real slipped on a flannel jacket, which is cool. We are so stoked and want to take this time to say thanks to B Real for the support.
In later news, today Gill the owner of our Blaq Ink Gallery snapped a shot of Dennis Rodman who rolled down and bought a Conflicted T and took pictures for all the tourists. Rodman had everyone down there taking photos and video like it was Brad Pit getting followed by the TMZ paparazzi, we will take any and all publicity so once again want to extend the thanks to the NBA and all defensive champion Dennis Rodman for the support. Check out the photos below and let us know what you think and keep your eyes open for Sullen on more celebs.
